This page explains how Azrael ("we") handles user information in the Android app "Classify" (the "App"). Please read it before installing the App and use the App only after you understand its contents.
This policy is available in English and Japanese. If you use the App in another language, the English version applies.
The App finds photos on your device that are similar to a photo you choose, or that were taken on the same day, and lets you organize them into albums. All photo analysis is done on your device. The App does not connect to the internet and does not have Android's internet permission. We never send your photos, their thumbnails, the results of analyzing them, or any other information, to us or to any third party.
The only exception is when you use the Share button in the photo viewer: the photo is then passed to the app you choose, and that app's own policy applies. Links in the App (such as this policy and the Terms of Service) open in your browser, and the contact link opens your email app.
The App creates and stores the following information only on your device and does not send it anywhere.

This information is excluded from device backups (Google Drive backups and transfers to a new device). Uninstalling the App deletes all of it from your device.
The App does not move or change the photos on your device, and does not delete them except as follows. When you select photos in search results (similar photos or photos taken on the same day) and choose "Move to trash", the App asks Android to move them to your device's trash (Android 11 or later). Android shows a confirmation screen, and the photos are moved only if you allow it. Until Android permanently deletes them after a set period (usually 30 days), you can restore them from the trash. This is done only on your device, and the photos are not sent anywhere.
The App does not send any information, so we do not collect:
The App does not show ads.
Pro is purchased through Google Play. Purchases and payment information are handled by Google Play, and the App does not receive payment information. To check whether you have purchased Pro, the App asks the Google Play app on your device for your purchase status when you buy Pro, when you restore a purchase, and each time you open the App. The Google Play app communicates with Google under Google's privacy policy.
If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Android and Google Play may send information about App crashes and freezes to Google under Google's privacy policy. This is a setting of your device, not of the App, and we can see only the crash information that Google provides to developers (such as the state of the program when it crashed, the device model and the OS version). It does not include your photos.
If you contact us by email (including from Settings in the App, which opens your email app with the App version filled in), we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply to you, and keep them only as long as needed to respond.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR and related laws, including the rights to access, rectify and erase your information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because the App does not send us any information, the only information about you we may hold is emails you send us. To exercise your rights, please contact us using the details below.
The App is not directed at children under 13.
We may change this policy as needed, for example when the App is updated. If we do, we will update this page, and for important changes we will also let you know in the App.
Earlier versions of the App sent usage statistics and crash reports to Google's Firebase services (according to your consent or setting). The current version no longer connects to the internet and sends nothing.
このページは、Azrael が提供する Android アプリ「Classify」（以下「本アプリ」）における利用者情報の取り扱いについて説明するものです。本アプリをインストールする前にご確認いただき、内容をご理解の上で本アプリをご利用ください。
本ポリシーは英語と日本語で提供しています。本アプリをほかの言語で表示している場合は、英語版が適用されます。
本アプリは、端末内の写真の中から、選んだ写真に似た写真や同じ日に撮った写真を探してアルバムにまとめるアプリです。写真の解析はすべて端末の中で行います。本アプリはインターネットに接続せず、Android のインターネットの権限も持っていません。写真そのもの、写真の縮小画像、写真の解析の結果をはじめ、いかなる情報も、運営者や第三者に送信することはありません。
ただし、写真のビューアーの［共有］を使った場合は、利用者が選んだアプリに写真を渡します（渡した後の扱いは、そのアプリのポリシーに従います）。また、本アプリ内のリンク（本ポリシーや利用規約など）はブラウザで開き、お問い合わせはメールのアプリで開きます。
次の情報は、本アプリが端末の中だけで作成・保存し、外部には送信しません。

これらの情報は、端末のバックアップ（Google ドライブへのバックアップ、機種変更時の移行）の対象外にしています。本アプリをアンインストールすると、これらの情報はすべて端末から削除されます。
本アプリは端末内の写真を移動・変更しません。また、次の場合を除き削除しません。検索結果（似ている写真・同じ日に撮った写真）で写真を選んで「ゴミ箱に移動」を選んだ場合は、その写真を端末のゴミ箱に移すよう Android に求めます（Android 11 以上）。Android が確認の画面を表示し、許可いただいた場合に限り移動します。ゴミ箱の写真は、一定の期間（通常 30 日）の後に Android が完全に削除するまで、ゴミ箱から元に戻せます。この操作は端末の中だけで行い、写真を外部に送信することはありません。
本アプリは情報を送信しないため、運営者は次の情報を取得しません。
本アプリは広告を表示しません。
Pro の購入は Google Play を通じて行います。購入とお支払いの情報は Google Play が扱い、本アプリはお支払いの情報を受け取りません。Pro を購入済みかどうかを確かめるため、購入したとき・購入を復元したとき・本アプリを開くたびに、端末の Google Play アプリに購入の状態を問い合わせます。Google Play アプリは、Google のプライバシーポリシーに従って Google と通信します。
端末で「使用状況と診断情報を Google と共有する」を許可している場合、Android と Google Play が、本アプリの異常終了や応答なしの情報を、Google のプライバシーポリシーに従って Google に送信することがあります。これは本アプリではなく端末の設定によるもので、運営者が見られるのは、Google が開発者に提供する異常終了の情報（異常終了したときのプログラムの状態、機種、OS のバージョンなど）だけです。写真は含まれません。
メールでお問い合わせいただいた場合（本アプリの［設定］から開くと、アプリのバージョンを記入したメールのアプリが開きます）は、メールアドレスとお問い合わせの内容を受け取ります。これらはご返答のためだけに使い、ご返答に必要な間だけ保存します。
EEA・英国・スイスの利用者には、GDPR などの法令に基づき、自己の情報へのアクセス、訂正、削除、処理の制限、異議、データポータビリティの権利と、監督機関に苦情を申し立てる権利があります。本アプリは運営者に情報を送信しないため、運営者が持ちうる利用者の情報は、お問い合わせのメールだけです。権利の行使は、下記の問い合わせ先までご連絡ください。
本アプリは13歳未満の子どもを対象としていません。
本アプリの更新に伴い、必要に応じてプライバシーポリシーを変更する場合があります。その場合は本ページを更新し、重要な変更は本アプリ内でもお知らせします。
以前の版の本アプリは、利用状況の統計とクラッシュの報告を Google の Firebase に送信していました（同意または設定に従って）。現在の版は、インターネットに接続せず、何も送信しません。
